On weekend this can affect far more banks. As their systems do not always work in real time at weekends.Life in the slow lane0 -
Around here anything done with FP would be accpeted as dopne with proof you did it, not waiting for the seller to have it show up.This is the first time I have heard of people doing it that way. If they can see you have done it no problem, they should also know your name and address though.Of course use cash if you are not prepared for any of that.YPMV.1

Yeah, I showed him that the payment went through on my Hsbc app and he still wasn’t convinced. The bank has blocked his and account and now he has started to message me asking me to tell my block to unblock it and that he can’t give me the laptop and will give the money back. He is speaking as though it’s not him, he is saying it’s his brother, but thats bs.I told the scan team at Hsbc the situation and they said they will not be removing the allegation towards his account however, he can request his bank to send the funds back even if he’s blocked, but he is saying he can only contact that team through email which is bs i think, he said it will take 24 hours to get a response on email to send the funds back into my account, it’s been almost 2 days since then. My bank also said there is a government fraud fund that may fund me if I don’t get my money back from him. Until then his account is blocked.0

@shiraz99 I understand so that’s why I said to him I’ll come tomorrow or day after once the money comes in, the next day once my bank confirmed it has gone to his, he ignored me for a whole week, saw my messages too.0

(and like I said both parties should provide passport/driving licence details or whatever).0
