Had a notification this morning that UKPC have withdrawn the appeal 🎉

After a few emails and being ignored ,I finally got a name and email to speak to someone at Royal London that could help me and was very helpful.

Thanks particularly coupon-mad it was the kick I needed to persist and get a result, but all your help was much appreciated

We know the letter said 28 days.  It's not true.  We know what we are doing.  You had till day 33.

You are likely to lose at POPLA because most people do, hence why I wanted to check the easy cancellation route had been exhausted.

You can't do it the other way round.  Once well into the POPLA system a PPC won't cancel for a landowner, but you could try again next week because there is still time before the PPC have to engage with POPLA and they could still bow out if the landowner or managing agent for the site tells them to.

Nicely done!  Plan A strikes again!

Can you tell the forum in a post added to 'Successful Complaints about PPCs' (linked early on in the NEWBIES thread) who the contact is at Royal London who sorted this, please, and their email address?  It will help others.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
