MAN T2 - how early to arrive?

Got a 9am flight from MAN T2 at the end of the month - hand luggage only.

How early can we go through security (does it open)?

With the current state of the security checks at MAN I would recommend getting there at least 3 hours beforehand.

Just looked at booking fastrack security ...

If I put in 9am flight, it says 'sorry, not available' but if I say 10am flight, it will let me book it!

They have stopped selling Fast track at peak periods because it was still taking 2 hours to get through and people wanted their money back. I would suggest 3 hours as a minimum as the situation appears to be completely out of control. Today's BBC Breakfast made it the headline news, seemingly more serious than the war in Ukraine and the fact that the Chancellor's wife has found a way to avoid paying tax......
