Octopus Go - How long to switch over

It's been just over 1 week since I moved over to Octopus, I applied for Go but they put me on a standard tariff for a while and then they move to Go, it's to do with the meter updating or something like that. Any idea what the process is, do they contact me or should I be chasing them to move me to Go tariff? What's a reasonable time before chasing them?

You'll stay on the standard tariff until your smart meter is reporting half-hourly readings reliably to the central database (DCC).You do have a smart meter? Is it a recent one?Can you see your data at http://www.n3rgy.com/ (you'll have to register as a consumer)?

I also switched to Octopus last week - not going to Go though, but they seem to be delayed at loading the smart meter data as my account still shows nothing in the graphs, despite Bright continuing to work all through the switch.

Thanks, yes I have a new Smart meter, installed by BG about 6 weeks ago, I have Bright and it seems to be about 3 hours delayed on the 1/2 hour reporting.
It's a bit worrying if they won't move over until they have reliable 30 minute readings, I'm on some 10 month fixed tariff priced at 42p per kwh, I've also go PHEV car which costs a fair bit at this rate, i hope I'm not going to regret moving.
They also moved me over 1st April when the new Go tariff was more expensive, I actually applied two weeks before, is it likely that I'll get the price when I signed up? I did email to ask if the will honour the price but never got a response.0 -

My smart meter data was showing almost immediately. I was able to switch to Go within 3 days of joining Octopus.0

Octopus had to resend my CoS Gain attempt 3 times to the MPAS as it kept timing out - but looks like it was third time lucky, as I've got data showing up from today.0

I found out batteries can be purchased that can be charged during off peak and last all day, making bills a tiny fraction, some people have started to do this. Of course the hard bit is getting on the GO tariff as they seem to have started enforcing the EV ownership requirement.0

I think it's right to ask for the V5 details of ownership.
The batteries idea doesn't add up for most even Economy 7 users due to the outlay for the batteries and their depreciation over time they have to be factored in the cost of ownership.1 -
Still nothing from Octopus, no readings on the portal, been about 10 days, I'll leave it until the end of the week before I change. Reading from Bright are a little unreliable as well, this website http://www.n3rgy.com/ would take MAC code which works fine for Bright app.
If this doesn't work out I assume I cant go back to the price cap as that was cheaper than the temporary 10m fixed tariff I'm on now.
I've got a PHEV but not been asked to provide any evidence.0
