Snoozer - hope all turns out okay.
Very windy here. Popped in SA and went shopping at Ald.
Took some more makes down to my hairdresser.

Afternoon all. We all seem to be in the same boat weather wise. We had very heavy rain lashing the windows last night, to the point where it woke me up despite being a heavy sleeper. Today is slightly better but still grey with on/off rain showers and it's feeling very chilly. We're forecast to have -1 tonight. Brrr.
SM delivery has been and gone, all unpacked and put away. I didn't have much for the freezer which is a good job as it's packed to the gills. The practically empty fridge is looking much healthier and the store cupboards have had a few additions too. I had one sub - SR flour instead of bread flour (what, they didn't have any brand of bread flour? ), one tin of beans when I wanted two and two tins of tomatoes when I wanted one. Doh. Still, it wasn't as bad as your last experience Rosy. I do hope we're not on the "hunt the flour" merry-go-round again. I kept the SR flour for Justin, plus I do bake my own cakes, scones etc so it's not as if it will be wasted.
I did a quick tidying whizz around while I was waiting for the grocery delivery so now everything's back where it belongs. For now. At least I can get straight on with the dusting and vacuuming tomorrow so it shouldn't take too long.
Sausage casserole for tea tonight with mash, veg and some mini Yorkies. I think these, dumplings and stuffing will be featuring much more as extra sides to fill up the plates. The Yorkies and stuffing can always be made in advance and frozen and the dumplings don't take long anyway so it's no bother.
Don't apologise about the baby confusion snoozer, I just knew there were twins in there somewhere. I hope today's scan went well.Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better, Scarlet. Look after that cough.
I don’t mind black coffee Gers, but black tea isn’t on my radar. Now a lemon tea …
Good luck with the clothes shopping nmlc. Not my favourite pastime at all.
Your afternoon tea & canal cruise sounds nice TA, I hope the weather is kind to you - anywhere near water always feels cold.
When faced with a choice of housework or TV SunflOw3r, I know which one I would choose! Shame about the greenhouse glass.
Berlin’s weather sounds better than ours, dp1. Enjoy.
It’s tough relying on buses, Rosy. Ours are less often than pre-Covid and I’m a bit reluctant to use them tbh. The last time I used one was a “must do” and not many people were wearing face masks either, so I was pleased to get off. I tend to walk everywhere if I can but it does narrow down where you can go. And sometimes it's a case of needs must.
That's all from me for now; the heating isn't due to come on just yet so I'm off to put on another layer of clothing and maybe have another coffee. I will keep these heating bills down.
Take care all. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
