Gers where were the t-shirts from ? I used to get M & S but they are so thin now that you have to wear a top underneath which defeats the object a bit ! I also need a long t shirt as I am very tall. xxI bought from Rapanui, they were recommended on another thread here (about clothing). All the items are made to order and can be returned to the company when they are no longer wanted so that they reuse them. Organic cotton and very good quality, I was very impressed. Not a cheap as M&S but, as the old saying goes 'buy cheap, buy twice'. The quality of M&S stuff has gone down so much in recent years.

Hi everyone, I'm feeling very tired after our full on day with Esben, not to mention the last few nights having a wakeful couple of hours from about 3 am. I'll be on pins until I hear from Laura how the scan went, I think Laura has been steeling herself that the second twin won't survive and is just hoping the other will be ok. Steve's gone to play golf and I am going to sort through the stuff Laura sent back with us - I really want to keep the house as organised as possible, even if there are 5 of us here with stuff from two households merged. Good luck with tonight's meeting Ruby. Hugs NRA and anyone els who needs one. Have a good day.15

Morning All
Dull this morning but thankfully dry so far, we had torrential rain yesterday with some lovely sunshine in between.
My hospital visit was quite useful, although I didn't get selected for the drug I'm still part of the study. I had blood tests for liver and kidney function that came back clear along with my blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels that were all good. Fell asleep when I got back for an hour - such a lightweight!
The most exciting thing happening today is getting the bins in, putting them out exhausted me. No change in my symptoms so it's more rest for me.
Hope you get some help from the steroids dp1.
Enjoy your trips out TA and poppy.
Glad you're feeling better Scarlett, look after yourself.
Fingers crossed for the scan Snoozer.
Good luck for tonight Ruby.
Have a good day. Take care. XX13 -
Update: Things are still inconclusive I'm afraid. Twin 1 has grown lots and has a good heart rate. Twin 2 has also grown and the heartrate is good but not quite as good as twin 1. One of the other things they measure is the gestational sac which was small last week and hasn't really grown whereas twin 1s has grown well so that is not a good sign but that is the only non-positive sign. The sonographer told them to prepare for the worst but hope for the best.13

Good morning ,it's been all go here today. Builders arrived at 8:30 almost finished the paving, fitted my lovely new tap such bliss, can now fill kettle etc without pain and not getting soaking wet. They are also going to give us an estimate for a new bathroom, we will have to build in a fair bit for contingencies as we have some quirks in the existing room which might involve a lot more work.
Weather showery and very high winds, freezing in here as garage door open for access to power and water supplies.
Knit & Natter cancelled - too many Covid cases are a worry.
Snoozer such a worry, fingers crossed for the little ones.
Ruby they are crossed for you tonight too.
TA and Poppy enjoy your outings.
Get well vibes for dp1, Camelot, Scarlett, Nelski's mum and anyone else having problems.
Take care all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)13 -
Hello all, the weather was dreadful last night, lashing rain and high winds, the rain is holding off at the moment today but it is still very windy.
Yesterday today there was hours of waiting around for a low loader and then a replacement car to arrive, all sorted but not until 6pm so my nerves were officially shot, I used to take things in my stride but now I seem to get worse the older I am 😵
Today I had a lie in, well I did get up earlier but went back to bed and not long got up. I'm having a day of sloth today " what another one ! " I hear you say 😂. Mr Fix It is playing with all the bells and whistles on the replacement car, don't think he'll want to give it back !
Snoozer I hope everything goes well for Laura.
Scarlet I hope the antib's work and the cough goes asap.
TA enjoy your cream tea and Happy belated Mother's Day.
Gers thank you very much again.
Take car all
nan xx
