Social Tariffs

Options
Hi, can anybody tell me if I can switch from one supplier to another if I am still in contract with them. At the time of starting the contract I was working but I am now on benefits and the company I am with do not offer a reduced tariff on this benefit but another does. Will I be charged for leaving the company I am with if I try and move before my contract ends? I do not understand why each company has different criteria to qualify for this.

It is very likely you will be charged for breaking your contract with them, but as you note each company is diiferent

If you care to name who yyou are with someone may have experience of this and able to advise with more knowledge

As above, yes you will likely be charged for breaking the contract, usually by the amount still owing until the end of the minimum contract period. I suggest your read the T&Cs from your supplier.

You can add a bt tv package for £6 a month that gives you a tv recording box that has all the catchup apps, now tv entertainment and a netflix subscription and 6 months Britbox subscription

Well worth the £1.50 a week extra
