hi guys
first time using this site and i am a little overwhelmed so bear with please
I received a CCBC claim form at the weekend and obviously did some searching before doing anything else.
it was the first I had heard of this fine, from 2020 7weeks before I moved address and subsequently have moved again 6months later, so 2 moves in in just under 8 months.
i have read and read until my eyes bleed and have sent of a SAR but have done my AOS too so i think i have got part of the way there
The only thing for my defence is that 1: I was parked with my blue badge showing in the disabled spot, 2: I was shopping in the store I was parked outside but have no proof of this over 2 years later.
if I know there was no pay meter or ticket needed just that you had a limited amount of time but didnt ANY info for blue badge holders as far as I can remember!
I would have thought it was 3hours for blue badge, I was about an hour, and also looking up what the parking firm said I was unaware at entry of car park that there was an ANPR camera. In fact I know there is no signage stating this as had used same car park many times.
Do I use this along with the rest of the templated defence?
any advice would be very gratefully received
thanks
P.s hope this is the right way to get a post started

Yes, correct new thread. Which PPC is it and what is the actual alleged contravention? I would suggest that you give the issue date of the claim, and when you did AoS, and regular @KeithP can make sure that you are primed with all the correct datesThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3

It is not a fine.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
Where did the alleged event occur? It may have cropped up here before, and Google Streetview may have historic images that could be useful to you.
Definitely use the defence template. Show us your amendments to paragraphs 2 and 3.
The blue badge scheme does not apply on private land. Parking terms for all motorists will have been displayed on the signs. They should say if there are or not any concessions for disabled motorists. Usually there are none because greedy PPCs want as much money as they can get.

Hi Trainerman
Thank you for the response.
The PPC is DCB Legal LTD/ Highview Parking Limited
the date of the actual offence was 03/02/2020, I'll post a pic of what the actual offence was as I totally don't understand
the date of the "claim form" from CCBC is 29/03/2020 (which was the first contact)
AoS was submitted yesterday 05/04/2022

Again thank you for reply, I've posted a pic of the particulars of claim above (not showing any personal info) I think it answers all of the questions you asked.
This letter was the first thing I had heard about this, I had had nothing else so couldn't complain to the landowner, I received the letter Fri/Sat and have spent as much time since researching and trying to find out what to do.
I will download/copy the defence template and prepare my defence over the next few days, which I think will be ready in plenty of time of the 28days? I think?!?!0 -

It is still not a good idea to post any personal data, especially as you appear to have included the PCN number as well.
Plan A is always for the keeper to complain the the landowner, assuming an occupant of the car or the keeper is/was a customer.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -

And yes i was a customer in the shop

Is this the place? Spot the entrance sign. It is there, but it is not the white sign above the bin.
GSV image capture date August 2018.
Image capture date December 2012.
On the balance of probabilities, the images represent how the site would have appeared to a motorist on the material date in 2020.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -
