Paid for SD, received 2nd class

I had an item which was supposed to be sent recorded but came ordinary first class, which I just let go. It's the same principle as the OP, so should I have started SCC proceedings for my 70p?!

If the listing stated special delivery, pursue it. He should give you a partial refund of at least £3.00.0

This thread got me chasing up an item.
I wanted something for this Saturday (bought on 10th Dec) and had the option of 1st class or SD; I opted for SD at great expense. Needless to say it hasn' arrived and they have left +ve feedback already. Hmmmmm
They better have a good excuse!!0 -
Slightly off topic but this thread just prompted me to check the status of an item that I purchased that was shipped Monday 1st class recorded. The tracking is still saying the 'try again later' message..and i am going away on Sunday, so fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Vendors must rub their hands together and say "never give a sucker an even break" when you come along

SD or satuday delivery SD?
standard SD isnt required ot be on delivery on a saturday
the person who didnt get Rd on their item could jhave filed an item not recieved pp claim.
after winning that they could have refunded all but the RD cost with a message on honest selling

The only time I would leave a neg is if I didn't receive the item at all, but I assume you are happy with the actual item itself, just the postage element so I think a neutral is sufficient.
I wouldn't leave a neutral. More often than not you'll get a neg in response.0 -

OP paid for item on 10 Dec a Monday and paid for SD (Special Delivery), no mention of Saturday Delivery.
And for the all knowing custardy to suggest the OP lie by saying they hadn't received their item in order to put in a fraudulent PayPal claim tells us much about some RM employees:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm still waiting on a £4.30 refund on a SD that arrived a day late, requested the seller claim off RM and refund back to me, failure to do so is THEFT in my book and will receive the appropriate feedback.0 -
Send the seller another email and wait a couple of days. If you have no joy then I would email both PayPal and Ebay and explain the situation. How much was the postage difference? If you lodge a complaint via PayPal they will ask the seller to respond and you can go from there.0

note i quantified it by saying refund the money back - the cost of RD
