problematic switch from pobroadband to shell energy broadband

I was a pobroadband customer from april 2008.the service was faultless and competitive. They sold out to SHELL ENERGY Broadband saying the switch would be 'seamless'
But the last 18 month deal i signed with pobroadband in February was for 67mbs fibre for 24.74 including voicemail standard.
I was shocked therefore to get a first Shell bill for 39.74 with promise of same for next month. I have emailed to the complaints department on both occasions and there has been no outcome.
Their online account is nowhere near as transparent as pobroadband was and however i contacted pobband my queries were dealt with rapidly and to my complete satisfaction.
Anyone else have probs with SHELL?

Details for your switch should be in the paperwork they provided for the changeover. Sounds like you are no longer in contract if the has price changed dramatically, but check it with them to be sure.
Never used either PO or Shell, so can't comment for them specifically.1 -
joined pobb in Jan:2021 3rd Mar:they told me they were migrating me to Shell on 16th Mar:21,week later Shell comfirmed that. In Jan: 2022 PO wanted to charge me £30 instead of the agreed £17 they said it was because my 12 month contract had expired??????????Shell now demands £150 for "Outstanding balance"even though they said they can't give me a D/D mandate to complete.Shell has threatened me with court action & detriment to my credit rating.0

I had to hound them to get anything done.
However, if they have put up the price that much then I would have simply phoned them to check that they wouldn't be charging an exit fee and switched.0 -
What happened is that PO said they were pulling out of the comms market & switching me to Shell on 16th Mar;2021 then still reckoned I was on a 12month contract with them (PO) in Jan:22.0
