Not sure if I’ve met RBS bank switch terms to get the bonus?

I’ve just switched from Nationwide into my existing RBS current account and to get the £150 bonus but not sure will have met their terms. You have to request to switch online which I did but because I hadn’t heard anything from them for a few days I had to phone them and they required some more info. Yet they went through most of the switch process again over the phone. So as I phoned them they may class it as switching by phone and not online. I will have met all the other criteria to get the bonus. Just wondered if anybody else who has previously switched in the past has had similar issue when switching and did you get the bonus?

    I suspect you'll have to wait until the due date and put in a complaint if you don't get it.

    NatWest Group aren't known for applying their terms in the strictest sense so you might well be OK, but if not you would certainly have cause for complaint since you did initiate the switch online.
