Covid recovery certificate for under 12s?

Hi, don't suppose anyone has any experience of obtaining a Covid recovery certificate for a child under 12? We are due to fly to Malta next week, and were on the verge of cancelling (at significant cost!) due to their PCR entry requirements for children preventing us from getting in with our recently recovered son. However Malta have today announced that recovery certificates will be acceptable for the unvaccinated from 11th April. Unfortunately I've checked the NHS site and called 119 and there does not seem to be any facility to obtain these for under 12s?!
Thanks in advance for any advice!

possibly one for a private doctors service who will require the evidence from a positive PCR with date. Does he have this?0

Have you looked privately?0

ok thank you so much, I hadn't realised that was an option so I will look into obtaining one privately. It does seem bizarre though that something that can be obtained freely via the NHS app for over 12s must be paid for privately for younger children! But at least it sounds like there is a chance we can still make the holiday.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

The big question is what evidence do you have that he tested positive? Proof by LFT? PCR? Or what?
There are many private online services that will issue a certificate of recovery. Check what evidence they require, as they may not all be the same.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. For our youngest we have a positive LFT which we uploaded against his NHS number last week so hopefully that will count. Our eldest was infected a few months ago but this is within the 180 timeframe for Malta so I'm hoping this also counts, I'm sure we would have uploaded his result to the NHS at the time but I doubt we still have the email/text evidence of this. Hopefully my eldest will test negative on the pre-flight PCR though unless he has been reinfected recently without realising.Has anyone used Healify: https://thehealthify.co.uk/asp-products/buy-your-covid-recovery-certificate/ or can recommend a legitimate certifier? At lot of these look like scam sites (similar to the ones which charge for filling out an EHIC application for example) so not sure who to trust!
I think the lesson I'm learning is don't try to travel to Malta with children aged between 5-11!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

I am wondering how you got on with this? I now found myself in the same position as we go to Canada in a fortnight? Did you pay for a private recovery certificate?0

So hardly a problem if you had the child vaccinated.
