I only have proof of a positive LFT and was wondering if they would need evidence of a positive PCR, which would now have to pay for and then pay for a recovery cert. Lots of mixed info online.
My advice would be to ask around locally for a spare test.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Maybe it’s a new policy since free testing for the general public ended in England on 1 April and is now only available in England to protect specific groups ?0

My positive test was taken at a test centre, OHs at home. I will report back if and when our certificates of recovery arrive.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have contacted one of the companies offering recovery certificates, here's the response...
-----You can apply for a recovery certificate after 11 days of your positive test.We accept the NHS notification email, text message or app notification that shows your name, date of birth, and test date. You can take a picture of the screen showing the notification or you can take a screenshot of the message and submit it with your order.

So i'm guessing a LFT result will suffice, crazy really!0 -

in the days when you needed a test certificate to return from abroad, there were companies that mainly relied on honesty. I used one where you uploaded a photo of “your” LfT cartridge and your passport, there was no check as to who had taken the LFT.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
