Covid SSP

Options
Hi I am hoping someone can help me, I had Covid on the two days that I work, I told them that I want to be paid SSP instead of using holidays, when it came to being paid I didn't get any payments yet my partner did get SSP for the two days he was off just wondered if this is right

Many thanks

The rules have recently changed, what dates were you off and what dates was your partner off?

I expect the issue is "SSP is paid when the employee is sick for at least 4 days in a row (including non-working days)" so your parter would qualify but you would not

SSP was payable on the first day of Covid sickness until the 24th March, so you should have received 2 days SSP.

Do you earn over the threshold of £120 a week?

That's not correct. As advised, your partner would have but not you. You were only off for 2 days.
