Hi I am hoping someone can help me, I had Covid on the two days that I work, I told them that I want to be paid SSP instead of using holidays, when it came to being paid I didn't get any payments yet my partner did get SSP for the two days he was off just wondered if this is right
Many thanks

I expect the issue is "SSP is paid when the employee is sick for at least 4 days in a row (including non-working days)" so your parter would qualify but you would not0 -

SSP was payable on the first day of Covid sickness until the 24th March, so you should have received 2 days SSP.
Do you earn over the threshold of £120 a week?1 -
Yes I do earn over £120 and I did think I should have got 2 days of SSPPaddy79 said:SSP was payable on the first day of Covid sickness until the 24th March, so you should have received 2 days SSP.

That's not correct. As advised, your partner would have but not you. You were only off for 2 days.Deb4 said:
