Isn’t it about time Investec stepped up? Still at a measly 0.93% on their Flexi Saver. Time to shift money around again I think……my linked account is seeing some action this year!!0

Seems dodgy from an accounting point of view to mix your personal and your business financials. You should really use a business savings account for your business savings.gandalftheking said:The mention of a business could be moot. It is my own Ltd Co., and the money has been moved back there from an ISA temporarily due to cash flow needs, but essentially I can move the money around as I wish.
Moneyfacts run a list of the current business savings accounts: https://moneyfacts.co.uk/business/business-savings-accounts/0 -
I use Investec and find them excellent and transfers in and out are very quick. Always reluctant to move from them for a small increase in interest rate. Have been bitten before by moving to an account where transfers take days.jaypers said:Isn’t it about time Investec stepped up? Still at a measly 0.93% on their Flexi Saver. Chase transfers take seconds. Plus 1.5% interest.Malchester said:I use Investec and find them excellent and transfers in and out are very quick. Always reluctant to move from them for a small increase in interest rate. Have been bitten before by moving to an account where transfers take days.1 -
Unlike Ford who use Barclays as bank. Sometimes payments arrive same day sometimes they don’t. And yes I have read their information on what day you will receive any payments into your nominated account. Decided to drain Ford account next weekjimexbox said:

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.3
