                    Hi all,
This doesn't need to be a business account per se, but a while back I put some money into an ISA after being seduced by the glossy brochure of my IFA (he did nothing wrong).
I then realised when cash started to get challenging in the business that from time to time I need to access (savings) cash quickly, so rather than tying a relatively small sum up in an ISA I was thinking a regular saver account (I bank with HSBC but not tied to them in any way).
Any suggestions for easy access (I've noticed the Chase account), interest bearing accounts that I could park some money in which will allow me easy access should I require it?
Thanks

Chase a/c sounds ideal for you as it has the best Easy Access rate at 1.5% plus you will have a debit card facility with 1% cashback for the first year.0

The second is the thread on here that was started many years ago, but is very active with discussion about the accounts currently available, so the most recent few pages (the link takes you to the newest) offer a reasonable insight into what's going on.
Having said that, I've only just noticed your reference to a business - the accounts referred to above are very much aimed at personal accounts rather than business ones, so is this your own money or is it a business's?0 -

The mention of a business could be moot. It is my own Ltd Co., and the money has been moved back there from an ISA temporarily due to cash flow needs, but essentially I can move the money around as I wish.eskbanker said:

Seems dodgy from an accounting point of view to mix your personal and your business financials. You should really use a business savings account for your business savings.gandalftheking said:The mention of a business could be moot. Moneyfacts run a list of the current business savings accounts: https://moneyfacts.co.uk/business/business-savings-accounts/3 -
Below are the ones we have individual accounts with in order based on current % rates; we now move £'s on a regular basis but ensure that I update our £ Trrackers to stay on top of things
- Chase savings account 1.50%
 - Cynergy 1.10% ~ the % is changing on a weekly basis so keep and eye on; I'm now on my 6th account
 - Virgin Save (max 25k) / Zopa Smart save (max 15k) 1%
 - Atom 0.90%

Went with Chase for now but see what you mean about Cynergy. At 1.2% as at 14/04/220

Right now I think Chase is No1 but once again Cynergy rate has increased; opened my 7th account and closed my 5th account last night but I'll play along with them as long as the rates keep increasing.gandalftheking said:Went with Chase for now but see what you mean about Cynergy. Atom rate is now 1% which is going in the right direction0 -

You cannot lawfully put funds belonging to your limited company into an ISA. If you move your personal money from your ISA into the business, then this would increase your personal liability as an officer of the business unless you have formally loaned the money to the business and have documentary evidence of this. Even then, you might lose some or all of your personal money if a claim was made against the business.gandalftheking said:
