    But surely lump sum at the end of a period will beat drip feeding in a falling market?
    Well that depends on what the curve between entering and ending the bear market looks like, but yes in most cases that's probably true.
    But I'm sure anyone who can tell that we're about to enter a bear market or are leaving a bear market will have much better ways to make their money than simple regular investing and lump summing.
