If only the OP had come here earlier and responded to the LBC in March then thrown in a question or two, they'd have got past the 6 year limitation period. Now it's a claim to defend.Never mind. Follow the NEWBIES thread guidance.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You have given the world enough information in those images - your Claim Number, your MCOL password and your full name - such that anyone can file a Defence on your behalf.
Do you have no privacy concerns? Showing your vehicle's reg no together your PCN references do you no good either.
My reg isn't a secret; its all over mt car and anyone can see it; what use is that to anyone without my name an address anyway?
Please understand that I don't know what you know, and I don't understand the things that you regard as 'simple'.

Your Claim Form has a box a little over halfway down on the right looking like this...
Note that isn't your password.
Your password begins with a capital 'K'.
You now need to be following the guidance in the second post of the NEWBIES thread - link in one of my earlier posts.5 -

But OK, I've figured out this MCOL stuff and done the AOS, so now the clock is running and I have 33 days to submit a defence.
Is there a good or bad time to do this, ie does doing it earlier help or is leaving it until the 11th hour make things more difficult for them?
I will spend a good few days going through the defence template docs before doing anything else. After the defence stage, is that it? Do I get a chance to counter claim for the stress, loss of earnings etc, or just be grateful if it all just goes away?0 -

But anyway, the paperwork was issued on March 30th (the last day of March) and only arrived in the post on April 2nd, presumably to prevent me from doing exactly what you suggested.0 -
You have 33 days from the issue date, not from the date you did the AoS, and only if you did the AoS on or after day 6.
Did you get an auto-response that your AoS was successfully submitted? If not, check again on Monday as well as keeping an eye on your MCOL account.
Don't rush the defence, but don't leave it until the last minute.
Remember, your defence MUST be submitted by email.
As for costs, I believe you have to state you want to counterclaim when you submit the AoS, otherwise your costs are capped at £95 if you win.
Post the parts of the defence template you have amended on here for checking before you submit it.
There is much more to do after that which is why you need to follow the twelve steps in the guide to court.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3 -

I was observing that, had you come here and followed our advice and responded to the (earlier this year) Letter before Claim, asking questions and delaying the claim, it would have likely got past 20th April and past the Limitation period.
Wondering what made you think there was no limitation period? It's the law.
By ignoring the LBC you've allowed them to squeak in this claim just in time and now you must defend it. Luckily, our Announcement threads cover it all and we win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

£330! is this one PCN?
Excel are not difficult to beat at court if you put the work in. They are a litigious company who pursue motorists through the courts and if they thought that there was real merit in the claim they would have been after you like a rat up a drain pipe. They have pulled at the last minute when pursuing some of these historic claims.

It started off as £1 to park in their poxy car park and has ballooned into this absurd amount.
