I have the same issue. Nothing showing as energy usage after 16th February, but I can see that my meter readings are going there - monthly anyway despite a smart meter, and the one that they took on 31 March is the same as the one I read so that makes me feel a little better.
Had an online chat this morning with them as I am being pestered to increase the DDs but have said I want to see the usage online before I do this as I don't agree with the levels they've set. Circular conversation that results in them saying if it's too much they will refund it, and me saying that they should provide the information so it isn't too high. They have no idea when the system will be fixed.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I didn't get a smart meter so i could start jotting down readings on a piece of paper then type them into a spreadsheet to get usage information.
7 weeks with no usage data in the current circumstances is dire. Every other power supplier in the country can manage to provide the information.
They know we can't easily switch in the current climate - so basically don't give a damn.4 -
It's been this way since February 16th 2022.The app used to put up an "apology" notice acknowledging this but it's stopped doing that now, I think they've just given up and don't care anymore - it's not like people are going to switch.I ended up signing up to that Bright app and then wrote my own script to pull my stats from their API and render them onto graphs - I can see the data so it's not like my smart meter is broken/not submitting anything. The problem is on the BG side.0

Same situation here, no electricity history since Feb 16th. Hard to tell on their app but from their website I can see they are still receiving meter reads at least. Have signed up for n3rgy and bright on the advice here, waiting for the data to come through now.0

I see BG have managed to get the energy usage details up to 7 March....whoopee only 5 weeks behind now 😅. What is such an issue for them to get the up to date info when the likes of N3rgy, Hildebrand and Loop can do it so readily....useless wassacks1

Looks like MSE have caught wind of it https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2022/04/british-gas-app-usage/BG's response about a "glitch" is a bit of a feeble excuse, a glitch is usually a temporary issue, not a - hey this has been broke for 2 months issue. It sounds to me like whatever is ingesting the data on their side broke and they've been having trouble fixing it, and are now attempting to backfill. I can see in the app they've backfilled some of my data in February/March. There's a definite gap of about 5 days after February 16th though, that's probably data that's unrecoverable. What's worth noting is - I don't believe this effects meter readings in any way, the problem is entirely on BG's side.

About 1 month it stopped updating. I phoned British Gas and they said there is a problem with all the customer accounts and this happened to everyone. They told me it would be fixed in a few days and its still not updating. This smelt like BS to me. Has anyone else's online account stop showing energy usage?0
