Were you trying to part-pay with points? You can't do this with Boots points, has to be the whole value of the items.nrmsmith said:
Whenever I bought anything from Boots that I needed, I could never pay for those items with any of my points. I don’t make a point of buying stuff I don’t need or use.General_Grant said:Not sure I understand your comment about never being able to use the points: you can spend the points on any brand, not just Boots' brands, just as you acquire them on purchases of any brand including Boots.

It’s been a few years now so I’ve forgotten what I was buying it was probably Gillette deodorant/ antiperspirant. I only recall being told that I couldn’t use points to buy them because they weren’t boots brand. In any case as I said the points have all gone now and as a customer so have I!0

You also can't pay with points at the same time as using the double points vouchers they send you every quarter. Which was sometimes the only time I'd go into Boots... Must think of a reason to go and spend a lot of points soonish....Emmia said:

That's actually a pretty obvious arrangement, they'd want you to pay cash/money to get (double) points, not earning points on spending points...NBLondon said:

Hi - late to this, but I've just realised that I've lost about £40 of points on my Boots Adv card.
Is there any way to get this back or are they gone for good.
I've not used it recently as I now WFH and was not registered for their website.
Seems they took advantage of the Covid period to initiate a cull when users were less likely to be using their points.0 -
Read the t&cs. I lost some too one year. You have to use the card once a year otherwise they are gone.funkey_monkey said:Hi - late to this, but I've just realised that I've lost about £40 of points on my Boots Adv card.
