Challenge to make an extra £10 a day April 2022 ~ all welcome

Hello everyone and welcome to the challenge.

The purpose of this challenge is to try and make an extra £10 a day on top of your normal income to help things along eg paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages.

If you feel £10 is too much why not start at £5 (or less if you want)  or if you're brave join those who aim for £20 a day! Anything extra you make is great so set whatever target you think you can manage. It also doesn't have to be £10 each and every day - some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for £310 (or whatever your target is) extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

This is the 174th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. Here is a link to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.
Thanks to Batgirl for starting it and for everyone who has kept it going for more than 14 years.

Hope you join us and see how much you can make this month!

Welcome to the challenge everyone. I also need to be more focused so I'm giving myself a smaller target of £100 and hoping this will motivate me to get on and do stuff.

May I join please. It's been a few years since I've done this challenge but mu car's service and MOT are due in May so an extra £300 would be very useful.

Just listed a few bits on Facebook so fingers crossed!
  • Hello everyone, and welcome to the challenge. Hope the moneymaking's going well.

I've received a small refund from an old loan I had a few years ago, so now £68.10/£100.

    Hi Makingmehappy,

Well done on getting that refund - you're well on your way to your target.

I have finally got round to photographing and listing some items on Fleabay.  No bids so far but I have a watcher.  Also waiting for payment on some surveys.

    Good luck everyone.
  • Hello! I forgot to post in here. So far this month, £50 refund for random insurance about 12 years ago and £10 on a stool my mum gave me. I've also sent an invoice for £550 for an extra job I did, writing some copy for a website. Not counting it until it comes, but should be in this month.

    So, £60/£300 so far.

    Hi All,

    Well done Sugar-walsh.

I still haven't managed to sell anything tho' willing to consider offers for OH - after coming into the livingroom to find 2 kw radiator full on and the french windows open!

I do have a few more watchers but no bids on Fleabay.

Got a £13.30 refund to add - after a long, long conversation explaining simple Maths and logic to an Indian lady who was very nice and apologetic in the end but very difficult to understand.
