Do I keep my existing energy tariff even if I move home?

Hello
I'm in a fortunate position where I'm on a fixed tariff with EDF that protects me from the price rises and energy cap increase. However, I'm due to move soon and I'll be staying with EDF when I move. But after searching for answers online with no luck, I wanted to ask "Will I keep my existing tariff with the price fix once I've moved?"
I'm hoping that as I'm in contract and as my bills are up to date that my home move won't change anything I originally signed up for. Has anyone else had any experience with this or been in a similar situation?
Thank You
James

EDF are one of the very few that will probably let you take your tariff with you, most others do not.You will need to call them though, this isn't something you can do online. Also you will still need to register with the existing supplier at your new address before you switch back to EDF.2

No you don’t.
When you move, you take readings and have no option but go with the supplier that the previous occupier had in place, onto their variable standard tariff
You can then look to change once that is set up however as things stand you’re not going to get anything that compares with what you have now.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
There is not obligation for suppliers to let you transfer but as MWT says you may find that your current supplier will allow you to if you ask.1

But you absolutely MUST take readings and open an account with the existing supplier(s) at the new property, staying on their standard variable tariff, before commencing a switch to EDF if they have agreed to let you go onto an advantageous tariff. When I moved house, and switched immediately to my previous supplier, I had 17 days of SVT with the incumbent supplier.

I have just moved with Eon next and was able transfer my 2 year fixed which we took out in Sept 2021.
Is there anything on the EDF website?0
