Not sure what you mean about 'when you are out you receive whatsapp videos...'

Do you mean you want to watch them there and then (incurring data costs) or could you wait until you get home and view them using wifi?

The rwg oddly rarely mentioned Welsh company seems to do 50 minutes/texts and 250mb data free every month. How long this is sustainable for a small company nobody has heard of I don't know.

Im with RWG. They have been going since 2015. They also do 75 mins/texts and 500mb of data free every month for a one off £15 top up. The £15 stops as credit on ur fone and never expires

3's Data Reward sim is 1p/MB. So is 1p Mobile. You can up the allowance for cheaper but will be time-limited or will be PAYM.
    Take a look at 1p Mobile's Ts and Cs - 3a - TOP-UP REQUIREMENT

"Our 1pMobile service is subject to a minimum spend of £2.50 every 30 days. If your actual spend during any 30-day billing period falls below £2.50, we will deduct the shortfall from the credit balance on your account; your billing period runs on a 30-day cycle from the Commencement Date."    etc...

Much less attractive for low usage.
That only applies to customers who were already customers….
    New customer T’s & C’s ….

    1. TOP-UP REQUIREMENT
      1. In order to remain a customer, you must top-up your 1pMobile phone/account with at least £10 once every 120 days (4 months) with effect from the Commencement Date.
      2. If you fail to top-up by the next top-up due date (which is shown in your account area),
        1. we will close your 1pMobile account,
        2. your mobile number will be disconnected,
        3. and any unused credit will be lost.
        4. If you have ported a mobile number to us then the number will be returned to the issuing network provider and may not be retrievable.
      3. The current minimum topup is £10.[/quote]

Also comes with 200MB data free per month.

Surely 3's Data Reward sim is a data only sim so not really suitable for a phone?
Works just fine as a "normal" PAYG sim. Comes with mobile phone number. I have  one in a spare phone, rates are 3p/call, 2p/text, 1p/MB. Search on here (and elsewhere) for more info.
do you know where can i get the 3' data reward sim card?

There are a couple of sellers on eBay offering Data Reward sims for daft money but, as @alanjones60 says above, Three are no longer allowing registration for the free 200MB data allowance. Don't know if these sims would still activate to allow 3,2,1 PAYG rates (they used to do this without registration) or indeed if these rates will still be extant after the July price rises for new or existing Data Reward sims. I wouldn't spend £10 on an eBay sim to find out.

Maybe look at the O2 Classic sim? AFAIK still offering 3,2,1 rates and available on eBay for postage. Not tried myself as they do not support wi-fi calling.

I use my mobile very little for mobile network calls and so am currently on 3's PAYG sim. However it charges 5p per MB for data use.

Occasionally, when I'm out, I receive what can be lengthy What's App video calls from family members which, of course, wipe out all my credit! I have thought about data add-ons but these seem to have limited life. Does anyone know of a network PAYG sim which has a data allowance that doesn't expire after a set time. Thanks.
    Hi VIctor

I use two Sky Sims, you can buy at several levels from 2gb a month, at the end of the month any unused data goes into a piggy bank and you can roll that data back onto either Sim.

I have managed to save about 120gb, the data lasts for 3 years and there is a way to extend that by 3 more years.

It is one piggy bank per account so if your main sim runs out of data you can pull down 1gb and what is really good is that if you did that on the 28th day of the month but only used half a gb, the surplus would go into the piggy bank and your account would add the usual 2gb (or whatever level you are on).

I was paying £6 per 2gb sim but there was a deal I asked them to match a few years ago and after some chat they ended up giving me them for £3 each!  They held that over for another year because of Covid, then went to £4.50 and then £4.80, but then added a credit to price match.

I use two sims so that I can have one for a router when I am on my travels and fancy a bit of Netflix.

As you would expect both sims have unlimited calls and texts.

It takes two seconds to add more data from the piggy bank and you can add as much as you want because whatever you don't use will go back to the piggybank at the end of the month.
