BY accident I found a profitable alternative investment in the last 12 months .
I bought a nearly new car with just a few miles on the clock and now 12 months later with 7K miles driven , it is worth more than I paid for it ( just ) . Not sure this would be repeatable though !

If you are interested in "exciting" you may want to consider backing startups or putting money into an EIS fund. Yes there is risk but there is also tax relief and you are truly investing in the economy and impact - startups create jobs and many have some form of primary or secondary ESG focus.

What about something like Ripple Energy?  Definitely different, and could be a hedge against energy bills

Have you considered alternative investments via fractionalisation?
This is where you invest in a small fraction of, for example, a prestige car, along with many other fractionalised investors.
Chip Financial have just announced that they will be providing this option in the coming months - watch this space.

Trackers are not safe. They span the risk spectrum.
And individual shares are never safe, even if they're in large, well established companies.

Nobody thinks British Telecom are going bust any time soon, for example. Their shares still managed to lose more than three quarters of their value between 2915 and 2020...
  • I’ve been inventing in a company for 6 months now and get approximately 3% weekly return which I can either compound or cash out. I was skeptical at first and only invest a little amount but slowly increasing week by week.

Well that's a 4.65 fold increase over a year, dump everything you have into this amazing company...or maybe not because such a return is ridiculous.

"A company" and "compound or cash out" at a huge return doesn't sound like an investment in a company. Sounds like a scam; have you tried to withdraw any money? This is usually where people discover the problem.

The time to stop being sceptical is when they have paid you out your massive gains, in full. Until then, best to remain sceptical, as the returns you quote are too good to be true...
