    In modern autos with electric handbrakes. You stop. Handbrake auto engages. You touch accelerator and handbrake releases and you move off. It’s how they’ve been for years.

    True. :)

    Thats pretty much the conclusion we drew RE: changing to an auto.  



  • I always pop my auto into neutral when stopped. Keeping your foot on the break whilst still in drive is a sure way of premature wearing.
