Samsung Upgrade scheme and Klarna issues

Just a warning to anyone on the Samsung Upgrade Scheme. I upgraded my phone from an S21 to and S22 Ultra. Part of the agreement is that if you send back the old phone in good condition Samsung pay off the finance company Klarna and there are no new payments on the old phone from the date you get the new phone. I returned my phone within a week and got an acknowledgement they would pay off the deal in 10 days maximum. (You have 21 days to return). However, it seems Samsung did not tell Klarna the phones have been returned and continued to bill customers on both phones. Trying to sort this out has been a total nightmare. Samsung support for the UK is I believe in the Phillipines and understanding the call centre staff was very dificult due to poor lines and poor English. I still havent resolved this. No one understood the complexities of the upgrade scheme and I can't get anywhere. Hundreds of people got unexpected additional bills and they will continue until Samsung decides to notify Klarna. Getting your cash back could be a nightmare so check your accounts if you are on this scheme. Klarna have been just as painful as again support seems to be offshore and they are used to just accepting returns of ill fitting jeans. and I'm now 4 hours into calls and no nearer a resolution. For large companies, it's just unacceptable. The Samsung forums are full of people at the end of their tether paying out double charges. One member is considering a group action.
