Virgin Media Haggle or Loyalty?

Hi,  I've been a Virgin customer for 25 years, currently Big Bundle with basic Samsung Tivo, Landline and Broadband.  Contract ends 12/04/22.
and will increase by £10 per month.  I want to stay with all same features, but I was told by Cust Services to wait until new contract on 13/04/22 when I could ask for Loyalty reduction.  Is this correct, I think it seems to change every time I speak to someone.

    This is not right.

I don't know what "Samsung TiVO" is, especially as I thought they dropped the TiVO brand a while back (maybe wrong here).
If you're within 30 days of your contract ending, call up and cancel.  Wait for them to call you back with a good deal.

As said , ring up when you are 30 days from the end of you minimum term and discuss it .
I was in this situation last week and on saying I would probably have to cancel they passed me to retentions and they immediately reduced my broadband from £42 to £29/ month with no increase over the next 18 months
I have never had a problem at the end of my contract and they have always reduced 5he price , maybe not always as much as I would have liked but by enough to keep me.
As it stands I wasn't able to get an alternative supplier to provide a similar broadband speed at a similar price .
