There is no free version of Microsoft Office. Office online is free to use with a Microsoft account but won't be the same as the installed Office suite. There are no free versions of Photoshop or Dreamweaver.

You will not get a free version of Photoshop, Dreamweaver or any other professional Adobe program as these are expensive commercial programs. If you are after a cheaper version of Photoshop you can use Photoshop Elements.
Ultimately though if you want high end software you have to pay for it.1 -
There are a few threads on here dealing with free/cheap/expensive versions of Microsoft Office, the sources vary from completely legitimate to well dodgy. Microsoft have a free, online version.
Adobe have an online free version of Acrobat (called Creative Cloud Express, used to be called Spark), cut down version with restricted storage and resources.
No idea about Dreamweaver, there are so many HTML- editors out there it seems to have got a bit lost.1 -
GIMP and Darktable are both very good free programs. If you're used to Adode there will be a learning curve, but it will be worth it if you persevere as they are both excellent programs (as is LibreOfffice)

Have a look at Aptana for an open source alternative to Dreamweaver. For Photoshop it really depends on what you use it for. If you need really advanced functionality then Gimp as mentioned earlier, though the user interface is challenging. Otherwise have a look at Pixlr which is a free online image editor0

Thanks guys - Ive installed Libre and it is great.
I thought I read somewhere that Adobe made (very) old versions of their software available to download FOC. Perhaps I was mistaken.
Ill install Aptana and have a play.

Hmm, Ive just thought (I dont know why I didnt think of this before! Probably becuase Ive been too busy getting other applications installed/working on the new laptop): I have Photoshop/Dreamweaver CS6 on my old laptop. Can I not just use that version, and somehow migrate it to my new laptop?0

If you want a free package that does a lot of the basic tasks of Photoshop but is less daunting/system-demanding compared to Gimp, Faststone Image Viewer is very useful.
https://www.faststone.org
However, If you have CS6, then using that will be a far better option - it is much modern/versatile in use and feel and not that far-off the current CC versions. IIRC, the standard CS6 licence does allow two installations. Use the 64 bit version on a modern PC if possible, it came with 32 and 64 bit installations.
If your version of CS6 is a standalone, you can also set-up Faststone to open images straight in to Photoshop and use it like a less resource-heavy alternative to Bridge and it also handles RAW processing to a useful degree - although nowhere near as versatile as Camera Raw.0
