They may be a bit antiquated but they are offering up to 1.15% on an essentially instant access isa for members over 12 months which will include a few million people.

Which at the moment is 0.3% higher than anyone else?

And once it is open you can view the account via your online YBS account.

So I don't mind the hassle - for the much better interest - and their loyalty to long term customers.

Not a cash ISA though - which is what I was referring to - and the OP was posting about in the first place!

That distinction won't matter for most people - but for some higher rate/additional rate taxpayers it will.
