Hello. As above got the new box last Tuesday
We got the Sky Q main boc plus a smaller unit for a multi-room bedroom.
Couple of questions, please
Our tv is sony KDL55... and Bluetooth Sony soundbox sony HT-XT1
We noted after the Sky man left the sound umbers were not displaying on the tv - we tried pairing again did not work. To be clear the sound works
but not the display on the tv
Main concern - when I changed for exmaple 115 to 120 via processing the numbers on the remote a close to 2-second delay
One of our children has the same tv, sound sytem and Sky Q box and they came around and he too does not get the sound displayed on TV However, he agreed there was a longer wait between channels chaging than his
The wire that you plug into the electric socket and then the back of the box was not long enough so the Sky HD wire was used.
Please help if you can.

Anyone, please?

Sky Q uses a different method of accessing channels, so I'd suggest speaking to Sky about the issues. It may be an issue with the cables that are run from the dish to the boxes not being good enough / degraded, but that should have been tested by the engineer when he installed Sky Q.
Details on the differences can be read here: https://www.smartaerials.co.uk/blog/what-is-difference-between-a-sky-q-and-quad-universal-lnb0 -
ok, thanks may give them a call next week.
getting used to the delay but it is still noticible,0
