What is it the April 2022 energy price cap per region and other relevant factors)

Options
I'm very confused. I recieved an email to explain my tarrif price increase from April 2022 as I was moved over from pure planet. I'm believe I am on a price cap tariff.

That all made sense. However I tried to find out what is the actual price cap was for April 2022 I couldn't fund it.

After looking at ofgem and mse website there's seems to be several factors that effect what it is for each customer. Things like location how you pay.

All of the amounts given for the cap includes the word "average". I think this is veryunhelpful.

I've been given a tarrif which i am told is in line with the price cap. But I don't know what the relevent price cap is for me specifically.

Does anyone know of a site that lists the actual amounts or a calculator for it?

Thank MSE for mentioning how you pay egby direct debit Coreduces the increase.
But could MSE look into more detail breakdown of how to calculate which cap apply to different customers in each location.

I was moved from Pure Planet to Shell. I was sent an email from Shell detailing the costs from April and I expect you will have too. The cap values for my region as linked to above matched what Shell had sent me. So whilst I understand the desire to check I'm confident the costs you already have are correct, much as you likely wish they weren't!

Isn't this tariff increase to pay for all the new smart meters that are going to need updating when 2G/3G is shutdown ? I understand it's going to cost more than £2Billion to update all the smart meters and all the suppliers are jumping ship.
Without complaints, there will be no progress.
    Blah Blah.

No, it has nothing to do with any changes in comms.
It is the comms hub that needs to be updated, not the meter, and the 2G shutdown is still over 10 years away.
By that time the updated comms hub will have been in use for several years already and many of the older smart meters and their hubs will have been replaced under routine maintenance schedules anyway.
