Obviously not the same model, but I've got a Dacia Logan, and have been very impressed.
It's nearly three years old now, 41K miles.
Other than two new front tyres I haven't had any problems.

The latest model does poorly in the Euro NCAP safety tests and only gets a 2 star rating.

That is mainly down to it not having various "driver assist" options fitted. The actual crash test rating, although not the best are no worse than many others.400ixl said:The latest model does poorly in the Euro NCAP safety tests and only gets a 2 star rating.
"The Sandero did achieve four stars for the protection it offers adult and child occupants in an impact, along with a three-star rating for pedestrian impact protection. However, according to Euro NCAP rules, the car's overall rating was dictated by its lowest score: two stars for active safety assist technology"1 -
We have a 3-year-old Sandero (non-Stepway version) which is a 1L non-turbo version. It's been fine and is no problem for town/city driving, but I wouldn't want one as a regular distance commuter. If you can stretch the extra (assuming they still offer a non-turbo option) go for a turbo version.
PS - a Dacia is essentially a Renault underneath ... lots of parts (and even complete cars) come from the same factories and production linesJenni x1 -
Thanks for the replies , every review I've read has been positive , could well be next car0

Last time I checked delivery times were horrendous. Six to eight months.0

Dealer mentioned September / October so approx 6 months
Not in a hurry as current car is ok0 -
For basic moring at low cost, these are OK. Noisy at speed. Avoid the Dacia sat nav as it's slow and lacking in detail.
