Have I left it too late to claim

Hiya we booked a holiday in 2020 with Thomas Cook. We were at the airport we did not know what was going on when are departure time come and went. No body told us anything. We later learned they had gone bust. We should of been in turkey just after 1am the next day. But we had to drag out cases across a cobbled carpark (and im disabled) we had to return for 5am the next morning. Theys my got a flight for us. But we didn't arrive in turkey until 8pm the following night. We had family already there who had booked us a 2day trip which we could not go has theyd already left so we lost the money for this has well. It was the lack of telling us that was hurtful. We spoke to the rep at the hotel and she told us to complain when we were back in Manchester but you could never get through to them or there was just no answer. I was just wondering if we entitled to compensation from Thomas Cook for our well really all you can say was a disaster holiday thankyou caz

The old Thomas Cook went into administration on 23 September 2019 so your post is not really clear on events.

Thomas Cook went bust so you have nobody to claim compensation from
Did your travel insurance cover anything for delays? (some may pay out £20/£30 for each 12 hour delay)
