Tesco mobile - voicemail doesn’t work

I recently changed to Tesco mobile and now I can’t use voicemail. If I try to access it or leave myself a message all I get is a series of beeps. Had endless online chats with their support. We’ve turned on voicemail; turned off voicemail; turned off the phone; turned on the phone, etc, etc. Finally got asked to wait 24 hours and try again (!). I did. It hasn’t made any difference. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is?

    Hello and apologies for the delay in coming back to everyone.  Tesco raised a ‘technical query’ which apparently consisted of checking everything was okay their end with 2905/2915. It was.  So now I’m on my own apparently.   I’m on a 2 year contract with this dismissal service.

    What is the make and model of your phone?

    It might be worth considering a factory re set of your phone to see if the issue lies there.

    You could always try cancelling the contract. They are not providing the service you are paying for. If you have your own business you may be loosing customers.

    My voicemail access is 905 not 2905.
    Has been working OK today.

  • I recently bought Samsung A15 5g phone and Voicemail did not work. Tesco mobile.
    If you are having the same problem TRY THE FOLLOWING AS IT WORKED FOR ME.
    Put the Sim in an old phone and try Voicemail.
    If this works on the old phone do the following:-
    On the old phone.
    Set up a new voice message.
    Phone the old phone and leave a message.
    DO NOT CHECK THIS MESSAGE.
    Remove Sim and insert in New Phone.
    Retrieve voicemail message on new phone.
    Now try to leave a message on new phone.
    IT WORKED FOR ME. GOOD LUCK
  • Further to my previous comment. The voicemail stopped working for non Tesco to Tesco calls. Used Lyca (ee Network) and I tried leaving a voice mail. It did not work. I have told Tesco mobile about the problem.
