Moving to a rural area I didn't know where to start with finding a builder or electrician. Asked the question on local Facebook and contacted those recommended. Turned out to be very good workmen.

When I lived in London I used to keep an eye on what work was being done in the street. Would knock on their door and ask about the workmen they used to see if they would recommend.

Those online tradespeople sites I never trust.

B+Q needhelp service t.b.f. wasn't far away with 745/628 offers.
I only tried Yell to make sure those bids were accurate as no idea myself.
My winning Yell local builders work is 621 which commences late April.
