Purchased a new 30day sim contract from id mobile and as there has been a some issues I’d like to cancel without having to wait until the 30days are up. I can’t find anything about a cooling off period so I can cancel sooner rather than later and will there be any early exit fees in the cooling off period. Also would it just be a case of find another network to join and request a pac or do I need to contact them to say I’m leaving first?

There's a page of information on returns here https://community.idmobile.co.uk/returns-58/how-do-i-cancel-or-return-my-order-45154
Looks like you are free to return/cancel if within 30 days if sim obtained direct from iD, less if from Currys. If you've ported your number to the iD SIM then you will have to talk to them - don't want to just cancel as this might take your mobile number down with it. Looks like they convert the 30-day rolling contract into a PAYG which you can then PAC away from.
