HSBC account closure

If they won't let you have a FlexBasic, chances are they would offer you one of their other current accounts.. Only way to find out is by applying.
Have linked it aboveYeah but if I've currently got 4 current accounts at the moment I wouldn't be able to fit in the criteria to open the nationwide flex account. It's rather just silly I'm unable to open it and transfer the funds in case it does get closed- at least I'll be able to have access to funds and set up new direct debits ect. Because of my main bank just decides to close one day. It'll be a new headache to deal with having all of the direct debits set up, not to mention quick access to funds in case I need them. I tend to just use
Though I don't understand why you can't just use one of your existing accounts.0 -

ETA: Reading back, I see that the recommendation had been about the FlexBasic account but |I don't think you had repeated that account name.
But why not open an instant access savings account?0 -

Also, savings accounts don't come with debit cards, and most do not have Direct Debit facilities. Being without a current account is a serious limitation on anyone's lifestyle. Thus the obligation that that banks must give everybody apart from the most severe criminals at least a basic account.0 -

I don't understand how Revolute can add this market by mistake and then not remove it.
If all the accounts are closed, maybe try a credit union account?0
