DCB Legal County Court Letter

Hi all, I've stared to read the Newbies section and a few other posts but pretty blown away with the amount of information to download / process.
Basically I've been given a Claim Form from Count Court Business Centre (Northampton) issued by DCB Legal on behave of CP Plus LTD, it's the first letter I've received about any parking issue and I've noticed the date which was over two years ago. I've gone through my diary and I was at the service station they said but never had anything about it, I met a business connection there and they haven't received anything so not sure what to do!
I've seen others on here get numerous warning letters but I've literally just got this, issue date said 14th March but I only got it Friday, I've left a message with my MP as mentioned but as said I really need help, I suffer from bipolar and this has royally messed my head up.

Thanks in advance

Have you moved house and earlier letters went to your old address? Either way, you need to send a Subject Access Request to the parking company and you need to put the issue date of your claim so that regular @KeithP can sort out the timings for you.
You will have to defend this, so keep on with the Newbies, and you will get help along the wayThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2 -
As you are at the claim form stage, you only need to read the second post of the NEWBIE announcement (just now). That should restrict your reading and downloading.newbieonboard said:Hi all, I've stared to read the Newbies section and a few other posts but pretty blown away with the amount of information to download / process.1 -
newbieonboard said:Issue date said 14th March...With a Claim Issue Date of 14th March, you have until Monday 4th April to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 19th April 2022 to file your Defence. That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -
This is why we have a Template Defence thread. Easy to do, even when stressed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, sorry for the delay had a bad bipolar spell but sat down and did the AOS which was really easy to follow! So now on to the defence part. Thanks again!

hi guys
first time using this site and i am a little overwhelmed so bear with please
I received a CCBC claim form at the weekend and obviously did some searching before doing anything else.
it was the first I had heard of this fine, from 2020 7weeks before I moved address and subsequently have moved again 6months later, so 2 moves in in just under 8 months.
i have read and read until my eyes bleed and have sent of a SAR but have done my AOS too so i think i have got part of the way there
The only thing for my defence is that 1: I was parked with my blue badge showing in the disabled spot, 2: I was shopping in the store I was parked outside but have no proof of this over 2 years later.
if I know there was no pay meter or ticket needed just that you had a limited amount of time but didnt ANY info for blue badge holders as far as I can remember!
I would have thought it was 3hours for blue badge, I was about an hour, and also looking up what the parking firm said I was unaware at entry of car park that there was an ANPR camera. In fact I know there is no signage stating this as had used same car park many times.
Do I use this along with the rest of the templated defence?
any advice would be very gratefully received

Raven2020 you need to start your own thread rather than hijack someone elses. Otherwise it gets very confusing.2

Hi, just an update. I have completed everything and sent it "by accident" outside of working hours as I don't have access to the pc during that time, I meant to do it as scheduled. But the plus is I got an aknowledgement straight away from CCBC AQ. So I guess I wait now?
Thanks again, if I could treat you to a beer or whatever I would.
Will update when I hear more

Don't they already know that as they have been sending you communications? If they don't tell them to contact their client, the PPC.2
