    For me it’s hearing the first Great Tit singing. There are some trees outside my office window and I hear one there every spring (presumably not the same one as I’ve worked there 20 years 😁) - when I first heard it this year I even phoned my colleague in the office directly above mine to check she could hear it too so it was ‘ official’ 😁

    Ant powder down and ant traps.
    They're bustling round trying to make nests.
    On the up side I moved some stone near the wall and found the 3 big snails that have been eating my pansies.
    They are going on a flight over the fence shortly. No tests needed.

    Two more firsts this morning 🙂
    First day the sun has been high enough in the sky that my washing line is in the sun and, while pegging out the first load of washing on the line this morning, I saw the first butterfly since last summer
