Apcoa Parking Charge - please help

Parked in train car park, had 2 kids running about - did not put a number "1" in my registration number - paid cash at the machine, luckily kept the ticket to prove I paid for parking. Have the original ticket. I have read over but so confused as to what template to use, the only way is to post on the letter (have covid and now have to go to post office) they also sent the fine to the wrong address and my ex gave me this (do I need to tell them my new address?), so they have the wrong address currently. Any advice would be appreciated or links to the right template as I am a bit confused xx thanks so much

Many judges regard such claims as a waste of court time.  Read this and complain to your MP

Thank you. I am looking for the template in blue in the newbies section but cannot find it, do I need to appeal or just go to my MP?

You do not need to write to your MP but we do advise yoou to.  You should definitely appeal to the PPC.

On the 24th of February, my vehicle was issued with a Parking Charge Notice at High Wycombe station car park for the reason of not purchasing a parking ticket. However, a ticket was purchased on that day with the following registration number: xxxxx (copy of ticket attached) and the registration of the vehicle is xxxx. Therefore, this is a single-digit keying error and therefore I would request the parking notice is canceled.

In addition, I do not live at the address you have on file. The resident who lives at the property passed on your parking charge notice. I have no guarantee I will receive any future correspondence sent to that address.

There's only one template to send to a PPC (Private Parking Company), it's the one in the first post of the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement - it's in blue text.

Just copy and paste it then add this sentence:

"As your Notice to Keeper does not comply with the requirements of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4), I have no liability as the keeper of the vehicle for this charge. Please ensure that it is cancelled forthwith."

I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner.

There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require an explanation of the allegation and your evidence. You must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date as well as your images of the vehicle.

If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.

If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.

That is the correct template especially if it is written in blue!  If you have read the NEWBIE sticky did you miss the fifth post that show you all the acronyms but if it missed any, you could always ask Auntie Google.  You do need to send a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO of the PPC by using dpo@apcoa.com and inform them of your address for service, require them to ERASE your old data and to inform all and any of their agents and sub-contractors of same.  This is to prevent you getting a CCJ by stealth as it is possible that a letter before claim and then a N1 claim form could be sent to an old address.

Oh gosh thank you what a nightmare for parking I paid for - so unfair why dont they check their systems to see if cars regs are similar / missed a digit. shall I send this to that email address? Do I give them my new address?
