SSE are supposedly getting ready to ditch Superdeal and they have a "specialist team" ready to help you !

OP can you post a photo of your fuse boxes? It might be possible to switch off the circuits you're not using.

So about 40-45 KWh a day or 1200 KWH a month
no underfloor heating, small fridge freezer, no ponds or fish tanks, immersion turned on for one hour a day, at a loss to find the issue, really need a smart meter so we could try and see if something was burning through the kw but they wont fit one, being a digital display we cant even turn things on one by one and see if the wheels spins really fast with something
Digital meters have a flashing red light that has the same role as the spinning disc of an analogue meter. The meter will be marked to say how many flashes to a kWh
    Watch the light.

And never tell an electricity company that you need a new meter unless it has obviously failed. Use some other phraseology.

Hi, already switched off unused in the fuse box, good tip about the red light, will try that today, thank you
  • If you check your statement you will find the number for the Electric Heating Team, give them a call to see if an Economy 10 or 7 would suit your needs as Superdeal is being phased out .
