I managed to order at 8.45 this evening they have been unavailable most of the day.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I tried every evening last week and finally managed to order a pack at 22.00 yesterday.Just before Christmas I got a code to collect some from a local pharmacy. As at the second week in February, nowhere in any of the three nearest towns had any available on the two days a week I was able to go out to try and find them. Fuel prices now preclude driving anywhere just on the offchance. Does the collect code have an expiry date?0

As part of the Government “Living with Covid” strategy, access to FREE tests is ending 1 April for most people in England - so you need to find somewhere before then .0

Better to check if the local council, libraries or others are giving tests away for free.
Otherwise the remaining option is buying them.
The box with 5 tests comes £9.29 at Lloyds Pharmacies (same brand sold at Boots at slightly higher price).
Otherwise Medisave has some tests at £1.19 each.0 -

You need to stop obsessing over COVID and get on with your life.
There are more people infected with it than at any point in the pandemic, and there are decreasing numbers on mechanical ventilators.
The vast majority will get a mild cold and that's it, I know because I had the exact same symptoms last week.
Unfortunately for some, I didn't die.3 -

The vast majority may only have mild cold symptoms but the last time I caught a cold, which for me would normally be just sniffles & a sore throat, it laid me out for 3 days because I am now immuno compromised. My wife caught covid 3 weeks ago and she said it was like a heavy (not mild) cold.
So I would rather carry on testing as that gets me the anti-virals sooner rather than later and will hopefully keep me out of hospital.6 -
My dil was I’ll imbed with a constant severe headache for 5 days. She could not stay awake for more than a few minutes at a time. After 5 days she developed a constant hacking cough that lasted for 6 weeks. She is not immune compromised and was triple vaccinated. No matter how many have a mild cold others are quite I’ll. while deaths are down hundreds are hospitalised and some are in icu. This takes a toll on other hospital admissions. It is not just a case of I’m alright, Jack.7
