I have vouchers but travel company said it’s going to cost more

    Under these circumstances I would be inclined to book and take the holiday, and subsequently take the travel agent to court citing the Consumer Protection act (make sure you read the most recent version).
    This is obviously only viable if the travel agent is not going to disappear.

    Can you not go directly to the airline to use the vouchers / credit?

    I tried to but apparently the vouchers are linked to the third party and not to me directly
