It's what the smart meter said. I will check though when I phone sse. Either way though it appears staying on the standard appears to make sense if I am correct?0

Are you sure about your annual use? If this is correct their direct debit figures you were quoted don't make any sense.dazzabee said:Proposed Evergreen Standard
Electricty
Standard charge per day 24.02p
Unit rate per kwh 20.87
Current annual usage 531kwh
Gas
Standard charge per day 26.12p
Unit rate per kwh 4.06p
Current annual usage 2717kwh
£181.43 per month
Even the expensive 2 year fix would be only £788 per year, that is £66pm.
Even not considering your annual use it makes no sense at all that the two year fix has lower unit rates, but a higher direct debit....
If the annual usage is correct I personally would give fixing a second thought. Depending on your region you would be looking at a price difference of £12 to £15 pm.0 -
You were indeed correct regarding an error with my figures. Update below. Thanks for pointing this out!
Electricity usage for the year - 2850 kwh
Gas - 14,330 kwh1 -
Just checking, with the revised usage above that I am still best to stick with the standard package?0
