Laptop Charger

They are the ones that are the worst for breaking/bending the center pin on the laptop, bending leads to it breaking as it is no longer fitting into the center of the plug. So bends it further & then it snaps.. So a new charger would not solve the problem. It would need the laptop socket replacing. Had to do that on one of ours.
Still awaiting which brand it is..Life in the slow lane0 -

The part in question is the prong that goes in to the laptop, not the plug itself.
My reading of that would be its the charger that's broken not the charging port as the charger goes into the laptop where as the port is inside the laptop... clearly need clarification from the OP0
