My boiler heats the heating hot water up to about 5°C above the set flow temperature before turning the burners off.I don't think so, but I'm not an expert on such things. As it happens, one day recently, the system didn't seem to be operating normally, so I did a reset on the boiler, which seemed to get things working again, but I kept a close eye on things over the next few days, inc. checking requested/actual flow temps at various times. For example, one day, while bringing the room temp up to the set desired level, and when it was close to achieving it, the requested flow temp was (IIRC) 52C, actual 40C (burners not on when I happened to check), whereas earlier, when maximum room temp rise was required, it was requesting 75C.On another day, having achieved, & maintained for some hours, the desired room temp, an external door was opened, allowing cold air in, dropping the room temp below the desired level; when checked, the requested flow temp was 75C, actual 42C (before the burners came on) etc.The requested, & actual, flow temps varied at various other times when checked over that few days of monitoring, depending on the stages of heating, actual room temp etc.Maybe the heating system isn't working correctly?, but it seems to be doing what is required of it (with the exception of the specific day above), but, as I say, not an expert, so maybe I'm misunderstanding things?I have followed the instructions & tips in the boiler manual, as shown previously, though...0 -
SJMALBA said:I was referencing both the 'Heating economically' & 'Tips on Energy Saving' sections of the screenshot from the manual - the text display programmer (TD200) on my boiler shows 'requested flow temp' and 'actual flow temp' - as far as I can tell, the former changes as necessary up to the maximum allowed by the bolier heating control? It is used in connection with a room thermostat (RT10), so, as mentioned, the system decides... I think?1

Correct, it's a Worcester-Bosch.
