    Interesting, I wonder if it's because it is below the £25 threshold. The only other way I think they could lawfully dispense with the checks is if they had set up a continuous payment authority on the card.

    Sorry, no, the Sainsburys is over £25, the Tesco i just for £5, so one of each.

    Maybe using a CPA if you save the card details then. Could be a useful workaround if people find this behaviour annoying.
  • It appears Husbanken does not support it properly judging by the message on their website.

    The additional check isn't for every transaction regardless of value and not all banks have implemented it yet. SMS text as an authentication or validation method is a flawed system and you will be better off having the app installed for the authentication / validation.

    As somebody who lives in a rural location in theWest of  Scotland, Tesco is the only supermarket to deliver. Because COVID made home deliveries so popular we still have to book a month ahead . Hence we have plenty of time for alterations and security checks!

    Epson printers are failing because Epson's payment system can't cope with SCA from Natwest/RBS
