Other people have chosen different brands to get installation in a reasonable time.

    That is an option.
The installers have already put in the AC coupled inverter and have done all the wiring which is needed. A bit stuck

The Pylontech importers had a consignment in, a week or so ago. I fear they may have sold out, by now, in these fevered times.

Somebody, here, went for Huawei to get a quick installation.

If I change, I might have to go back to DNO.
The solar panels are Enphase system and the Givenergy would be considered as a separate generator ☹️

Have you checked if any of the other sizes of battery are more readily available? A friend was faced with a long wait for an 8.2kWh battery but opted for immediate delivery of 2 x 5.2kWh.

Might ask about the smaller size battery.

    Try getting hold of 3 x 5.2

    or 2 x 5.2 & leave an 8.2 on back order.

Type your UNAVAILABLE for new orders - all 8.2kWh in production are sold on existing orders. The new 9.5kWh battery will be listed on our website very soon. We will be unable to fulfil any new orders placed with 8.2kWh batteries (as of 1st March 2022)

I've been waiting for a few months. My quote was very good so I'm reluctant to change, but it's quite frustrating. I am wondering what the price of the 9.5kWh will be.
