Advice on Witness Statement submission - Highview Parking Ltd/Group Nexus

I do have a final query though, something I didn’t find a definitive answer to, although it has propped up in some discussion threads.
My hearing of the claim will be in mid-December and according to the ‘notice of allocation’ the claimant needs to pay the trial fee by mid-November which is some time away still. My WS needs to be submitted 14 days before the hearing but I am almost ready to send now. My question is should I delay sending the WS for a while? I've yet to receive a WS from the claimant (possibly waiting to see if I bother) I don’t want to be in a position that the claimant sends a WS just before the hearing leaving me with hardly any time to counter. I get the position that the alternative could be that I send it now and I get a discontinuance sooner. What's the recommendation here??
The converse, except for the court fee, is also true, which is why you won't see the Claimant's WS before the filing deadline.2 -
Final version of my WS (redacted version) attached at the link below, sharing in case anyone needs. I've had nothing from the claimant party so may go and file with the court soon and look to obtain a discontinuance.

Looks good. I reckon they'll discontinue.
Looked like your third quote from the POPLA Annual Report (the one about the NIP from the Police) needed a word added at the start of that quote, seems that it should start ' Unlike a NIP...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Went to hand my printed and primed WS in at the county court and was surprised over the lack of interest. Chap at the entrance, armed with his security paddle, told me to post it into the mail point around the corner. When I asked for a confirmation that I have passed it to the court was told he wouldn't be giving it but if its in the post box then it would be dealt with accordingly. (I hope!) Thought I possibly should check to see if I can also email it in but after finally finding the correct email address, I find that the email must not exceed 50 pages!! Just had to share as for some reason I was thinking the process would be a tad more efficient!

And we sincerely hope @Sebi_895 that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?
Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.
Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

Sorry if you knew all this already - I had no time to check back through the thread and know you've been posting to help others, so I expect you are ready to join us when the Consultation opens.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
