Fine but I'm sure that I've read when people have signed up, only to be told later that they can't get that price!
I'll be very annoyed if this happens because I dont want him putting through any grief. I'll ring him tomorrow and make sure everything is sorted. Thanks for the advice on this.0 -
perhaps your dad should use someones internet connection to check out the dslzoneuk link posted earlier and read the customer's comments before committing to anything, tiscali don't come out worst in the ratings, but the consensus seems to be that they are pretty dire. only orange and karoo (poor Hull) fare worse.
ratings are speed 3.7/10, support 2.9/10 reliability 5.1/10
recent comments from users include "USELESS ISP, the term ISP being used very loosely!" and " Other Tiscali users, do not do justice with their comments. Its far worse than any of them say".
there are plenty of good ISPs offering a great service for around the same amount of money, i'd suggest he picks any from the top 10 in the listUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
Thanks Tony.
Oh its not the easy job I thought it would be.
I will ring my brother in the morning and show him this thread, see what he thinks about it all. I dont want my dad getting tied up in something that is not very good. He simply doesnt have the money to be messed around, he just wants to surf the internet quietly and happy!0
